  1. New edition. Large 8vo. Hardback. 320 pp. including title and many colour illustrations. Dust-jacket to match cover.

  2. First edition, first impression, limited issue, no. 72 of 100 numbered copies specially bound and signed by the author. Large 8vo. Boards just a little bowed but an exceptional copy of a book more often found in slightly tired condition.

  3. First edition, first printing; 8vo; single quire, wire-stitched in white card, Haring designed wrappers printed in black. Unpaginated series of illustrations by Haring. Very light tide mark at the spine fold, but a particularly crisp copy of a book much given to discolouration.

  4. First edition; 4to; illustrations, text in German, captions in German and Russian, book design by Paul Urban; publisher's cloth over pictorial paper boards, dust-jacket, only a gragment, lacking all but the upper cover, slight rubbing and soiling to the boards, internally very good; preserved in a later, custom-made solander box.

  5. First edition. Tall 8vo., original pictorial wrappers housed in a custom made box.

  6. First edition, 4to; presentation copy, inscribed in brown crayon on the front free endpaper, 'To my friends the Aukins with much love Jankel', with a full page self portrait in brown crayon, black and white and colour illustrations throughout, with an introduction by S. W. Hayter; original cloth and pictorial dust jacket, jacket with small tears on the top margins with some loss, nicked along the lower edge.

  7. First English edition; 4to, presentation copy, inscribed in ink on the front free endpaper, 'For John Read affectionately Naum Gabo Sept. 21st 1971'; lacking the folding facsimile plate, 3d glasses in folding container on rear pastedown, list of stereoscopic reproductions tipped in; original cloth, pictorial dust jacket, some annotations in the text, dust jacket chipped and torn at the margins, with some loss at the top edges.

  8. First Edition, limited issue; one of 500 numbered copies, specially bound and signed by the author and Hirst who designed the dust jacket; 8vo; patterned endpapers; publisher's red cloth, with the laminate dust-jacket designed by Damien Hirst, a fine copy.

  9. First edition, signed by the artist; 4to; tipped-in 'toxicological report', 2 folding plates, illustrations; publisher's red cloth with gilt flow-chart to upper cover, printed paper sleeve, a near fine example.

  10. First edition, two volumes, 4to. xxiv, 321, (1); xxiv, 323-592 pp., both volumes inscribed by the Author to the same recipients on the half-title, numerous tipped-in colour plates, further black and white images, publisher's taupe cloth, lettered to the spine and upper board, dust jackets, usual slight age-toning to the jacket of vol. 1, else a fine set preserved in the original cloth slip-case.
