  1. Soft ground etching in black and white; 60 x 50 cm, including frame. Artist's name etched in black at bottom right of etching, with his Hebrew name underneath (Haim Aaron ben David); etching glued on a white background with Theodor Herzl's own signature in pencil at the bottom right; at the bottom left of the picture is a star of David with Hermann Struck's initials in it, to its right is his signature in pencil. Very good condition.

  2. Original manuscript on parchment, text arranged in 16 lines, in Hebrew script, housed in an elaborately decorated silver case made by Yemini for the Bezalel School. The decorations include three filigree tiers and two bands mounted with ruby coloured stones surrounding elaborate scenes from the Megilah, depicting Mordechai riding on a horse led by Haman, the king Ahasuerus and others. Scroll height 9.5 cm. Case height 22 cm.

  3. First edition. Two volumes in one. 4to, (24 x 19.5 cm). Contemporary calf boards with gilt borders, spine with raised bands, leather label, joints and spine cracked. Text in Hebrew.

  4. First American edition; large chromolithographic map titled 'Jewish East London', hardbacked and framed; book: 8vo, (190 x 125 mm); publisher's blue cloth boards with gilt title to spine, edges slightly rubbed, some marginal chips, light worming and browning to page edges, not affecting text; half-title, title, vii-xlv, [3], A, 2-238 pp.

  5. First edition, 8vo, (17.5 x 11 cm); [1], 213, [16] pp. Text in Hebrew and English, worm marks and small marginal tears to a few pages, contemporary brown calf, light wear, edges rubbed. A very good copy.

  6. First edition; 4to (20.5 x 13.5 cm); 114 leaves; pagination in Hebrew; leaves browned, wear and occasional small tears to margins of leaves. Half cloth marbled boards, hinges and corners restored.

  7. First edition. Octavo, (19.5 x 12.5 cm); [68], 130 pp., contemporary marbled boards, spine taped, edges of binding rubbed, some minor foxing throughout.

  8. Small 4to, (21 x 17.5 cm). pp. [4], 226, [13], engraved frontispiece, title page in red and black, 27 engraved folding illustration plates. Later floral boards.

  9. Fourth edition. 8vo; original illuminated and embossed cloth boards, worn, with some minor tears to spine. Stains and tears to margins of several leaves, slightly browned. Text in German. Dedication in Herzl's hand to his wife's sister on front endpaper. [3], 343, [5] pp.

  10. Quarto, (32 x 20.5 cm); [3], 249, [3], 168 ll. Edges stained and browned. Original embossed and gilt calf boards with brass locks. Text in Hebrew and Latin.
