First edition; small 8vo; scattered light foxing, heavier to endpapers; publisher's dark blue pictorial cloth, Art Nouveau illustration to upper board in red, white, and green, red lettering to spine and upper board, edges untrimmed, a very good copy.

First US edition, first impression, first state; 8vo (19 x 13 cm); slight toning to leaves, light soiling to prelims; publisher's green cloth, gilt lettering to spine and upper cover, light wear to extremities, top edge gilt, some light spotting to publisher's ads and rear endpapers, otherwise a very good example.

10 vols, 8vo (180 x 120 mm); monochrome illustrations with tissue-guards, publisher's printed Ex Libris to each upper paste-down (three personalised in ink, with the name 'E.M. Holmes, one dated '1895', small bookseller label to the foot of the front paste-downs of Sense And Sensibility volume 1, Pride And Prejudice volume 1, Mansfield Park volume 1, Emma volume 1, & Persuasion, some light toning, the odd, random spot, more prevalent to frontispiece of Northanger Abbey`, otherwise, near-fine; publisher's gilt-decorated cloth, some of the boards are lightly toned with minor marks, spines are lightly rubbed to head & foot but generally, sound and in very good order.

Eighth edition, corrected and revised; 2 vols, 4to; engraved portrait frontispiece; contemporary sprinkled calf gilt, red and black morocco labels, an excellent set.

II correctly dated June 1857, Wesley's bookbinder's label to rear paste down of the first volume, all primary issue points; publisher's purple cloth, elaborately tooled in blind to all boards, titles to spines gilt, cream coated endpapers, hinges just a little tender, spines inevitably somewhat faded but a stunning copy, entirely unsophisticated condition and a qenuine rarity thus; housed in an early twentieth century red cloth, solander box.

30 volumes (complete); 8vo; variously illustrated in black & white by George Cruikshank, G. Cattermole, Robert Seymour and 'Phiz' (Hablot Knight Browne) and others, varying degrees of foxing to most of the preliminary and terminal pages, occasional spotting elsewhere but in the main, bright; contemporary half calf over cockerel paper covered boards, matching endpapers and all edges similarly marbled, spines with very fine gilt, rubbed at extremities, minor abrasions to some edges, otherwise a very good, original set.
