First edition; folio (50.7 x 34.6 cm); 48 double-page maps, hand-coloured in outline, watercourses printed in blue, advertisements tipped in at rear, slight marginal toning, light foxing to prelims and light spash-stains to four maps, otherwise good; contemporary burgundy half morocco gilt, gilt lettering to spine and upper cover, spine with 6 raised bands and gilt in compartments, light rubbing to extremities, all edges gilt, teal endpapers, overall a very good example.

Large framed colour printed map of the London Underground, designed by Paul Garbitt and dated March 1969; somewhat creased from storage but clean and bright; map size 102 x 126 cm, framed size 110 x 135 cm.

First English edition. Folio (54 x 37 cm. approx.), 12 large folding, and or double-page maps in original hand colour, a few with slighty dusty edges, modern red cloth-backed boards, morocco lettering piece, a very good copy.

Early wash-coloured lithograph, dissected and laid on linen, folding into publisher's original maroon cloth boards. Some light toning, otherwise good.
Framed and glazed, overall size: 86.5 cm x 96 cm x 5cm.

General title-page in English and French and printed in red and black, 2-page index, 2-page explanations, 11 (of 12) douple-page map-sheets incl. index map, double-page index map and 8 map-sheets, all maps hand-coloured in outline, 2 leaves of text and 2 index leaves in French, printed on rectos only; without the double-page engraved dedication, title a bit browned and spotted, first map of the republic of Genoa lightly stained, a few maps very lightly browned. Contemporary half russia; extremities lightly rubbed, corners bumped.

Hand-coloured double-page engraved map, Dutch text on verso, flanked at sides with 17 coats of arms of the colleges, plus a blank shield, and seven family coats of arms, plus a blank, near-fine; 430 x 525 mm (17 1/2 x 22 inches); framed glazed (modern) 540 x 645 mm (21 1/4 x 25 1/2 inches).

Folio. 600pp., Red cloth gilt, pictorial dust wrapper. New.

Folio (56.4 x 45.4 cm). Folding overview map, 20 double-page maps engraved by Claude Lucas after Bretez including 1-16 numbered in the plate, plates 18 and 19 joined and folded. Contemporary red morocco gilt, covers with gilt borders, gilt arms of Paris to covers, fleur-de-lys to corners, spine in ten compartments, gilt lettered direct in second, others with fleur-de-lys tooling, raised bands, a very attractive example.
