  1. Duodecimo (19 x 12.7 cm). XVII, 241 pp.; foxing, occasional spotting, lacking all 7 plates. Contemporary brown half-calf over marbled boards, gilt lettering and library shelf mark to spine; slightly rubbed.

  2. Quarto (26.5 x 18.3 cm). 90 numbered plates coloured by hand, Russian, German and French captions in the plate; first plate spotted, small traces of mount to the versos. Later vellum with manuscript score; soiled.

  3. 8vo (24 x 16.5 cm). Title, pictorial title, VIII, VIII, 335, [2] pp. with 46 plates, including 2 double page and 1 folding; occasional light spotting and offsetting, traces of tape to verso of one plate, owner's inscriptions and stamp to title. Original publisher's green cloth by Moscow binder T.I. Hagen, upper cover stamped in black with gilt lettering; slightly rubbed.

  4. 4to (36 x 26 cm), [78] pp. including French and English title pages, dedications, prefaces and tables of contents, with 73 hand-coloured aquatint plates (watermarked J. Whatman 1823) engraved by J. Dadley after Georgi, each with accompanying text in English and French. Red crushed morrocco, covers with borders in gilt and blind, spine richly gilt in six compartments, with broad gilt dividers morrocco lettering-piece to second, all edges gilt.

  5. Three volumes in one accompanied by plates vol., quarto (29.5 x 22.5 cm). Title, [2], 108 pp.; title, [2], 228 pp.; title, [2], 164 pp., uncut, some leaves unopened; marginal waterstain in vols 1 and 3, heavier at the end. Vol. with plates : 25 + 75 engraved plates in fine contemporary hand-colour, with upper wrappers and index for I and II part. Modern half calf gilt over old marbled boards by Aquarius.

  6. Large 8vo. (26.5 x 20 cm). Portrait frontispiece protected by tissue guard, half-title, title, dedication, XI pp., [1], 520, IV pp., with 7 plates and many illustrations in text; some occasional marginal soiling. Publisher's blue cloth, blind-stamping to lower cover, upper cover lettered and decorated in gilt, red and yellow, flat spine lettered and decorated in gilt and red, all edges marbled; a bit soiled and spotted.

  7. Folio (56.2 x 44 cm). 34 engraved views by many engravers after various artists, including 12 of the cities in European Russia and 22 of Siberia, on 22 leaves, with captions in Russian and French, printed on Dutch handmade paper watermarked C & I Honig IV, one engraving signed in the plate by N.Ya. Sablin; the first view (Zilantov monastery) cut and pasted at the time of binding on paper watermarked 'Whatman 1818', views of Kokshaysk and Astrakhan conjoined. Early 19th-century half calf over marbled boards, gilt rules, spine with raised bands, gilt lettering in second compartments, gilt decorative elements in others; joints restored.

  8. Octavo (22.5 x 16 cm). Title, 712, viii pp., multiple illustrations in text; ink stamps to title, pp. 5 and viii. Contemporary brown half calf over marbled boards, brown calf label with gilt lettering to spine.

  9. 2 volumes, 8vo; including a 4 page publisher's catalogue at the end; contemporary mottled half calf gilt, green morocco labels, an excellent set; viii, 357, [5]; [2], vii, [i], 219, [7] pp.

  10. Folio. Title-page, 154 original subjects, printed on 59 leaves consisting of 80 etchings (on 29 leaves) and 74 aquatints (on 30 leaves); occasional light spotting and waterstaining. Uncut in modern calf antique, spine with raised bands gilt in compartments.
