Roald Dahl's mischievous verse play on traditional folk tales, reinterpreting six well-known fairy tales and replacing the more traditional, happy-ever-after endings with surprise ones of a more grotesque nature, each still serving as a moral tale of sorts. The Revolting Rhymes were adapted for television by Magic Light Pictures in 2016.
