Edward Stanford Sr. (1827–1904) was an English mapmaker and publisher, who built his firm to be the largest, and best, mapmakers and publishers in London by the end of the nineteenth century.
Hand coloured map, dissected and laid on linen, within a purple slip case, size: 978 by 675 mm. Extends from Stamford Hill in the north to Dulwich in the south and from Chiswick in the west to Stratford in the east. Some slight stains, but otherwise in very good condition.
