Loosely inserted are four letters of correspondence (dated 1964) between Koestler and BBC drama producer H. B. Fortuin regarding having Twilight Bar for the BBC Home Service Monday night play. The two letters from Koestler to Fortuin each 1 page, signed on Montpellier Square letterhead. The two from Fortuin are his retained carbon copies.
First edition, first impression; 8vo; four folded letters laid in, two of which signed by the author, no foxing, very light toning; publisher's tan cloth, black lettering to spine, in original unclipped blue printed dust jacket, slight chipping to extremities, spine slightly faded, covers of jacket slightly soiled, overall very good. 76 pp.
