Folding engraved map of England and Wales (57.5 x 50.5 cm open); contemporary hand-colour; dissected into 16 parts and laid onto linen as issued; contemporary ownership inscription in pen to linen verso, scale: 6 cm : 50 miles; extending from Berwick upon Tweed in the North, to Lizard Point in the South, and from St. David's in the West to Southwold in the East, engraved cartouche with publisher's information; housed in original marbled slipcase with publisher's printed title-label and advertisements to rear; a little worn to edges, a few small stains, otherwise in a very good condition.
