There were only two editions of this unusual guide, the first was published in 1909 and this one in 1924. Both editions are scarce.
Second edition. 8vo (20 x 14 cm) ; pp. ix, (ii), 237, xii, adverts, numerous maps and plans, some folding, some coloured, large folding 'Plan of Peking' printed in colour insserted loose in rear pocket (small tear at one edge of rear pocket), previous owner's ink signature inside, bookseller's label on front endpaper; publisher's original orange decorated boards; a very good copy.
