The three large scale, extended horizontal screenprints of the 'Race Track Series' are named after horse-racing tracks in Southern California and Mexico : Del Mar (San Diego County), Los Alamitos (Orange County) and Agua Caliente (Tijuana). The subject of horse and automobile racing are a reflection of Stella's personal interests, as he has both owned and raced horses throughout his life.
