First edition; 4to (29.5 x 23.5 cm); 14 hand-coloured aquatint plates after the author, 10 hand-coloured woodcut vignettes in text, armorial bookplate to front pastedown, light occasional spotting, last couple pages a little soiled; contemporary full marbled calf boards smartly rebacked, boards gilt rolled, gilt spine in six compartments with gilt morocco lettering piece, turn-ins gilt rolled, edges untrimmed, a little wear to boards, otherwise a very good copy; v, [3], 512pp.
