
Boyd Alexander's last journey.

'After his efforts to journey from the Niger River to the Nile, Boyd Alexander returned to Africa travelling through the Cameroons, Nigeria, and into French Equatorial Africa where he was killed by Furian tribesmen. Herbert, his brother, obtained his journal and published it along with a memoir recounting the earlier expedition' (Czech).
