Comprising: Emma; Northanger Abbey; Persuasion; Sense & Sensibility; Mansfield Park; Pride and Prejudice.
London, J. M. Dent & Co., 1898
First Brock editions; 10 volumes, small 8vo; illustrated with numerous colour plates by the Brock brothers, edited by R.B. Johnson, the odd, minor spot to a few margins in some volumes, a little more evident to vol. I of Pride and Prejudice with browning and offsetting to half-title of vol. II, upper joint to vol. I of Emma split but firm, otherwise very good; publisher's grey cloth decorated in blue and gilt, top edges gilt, others uncut, darkening to spines and some light dust-soling and a few minor marks or spots to some boards, slight rippling to cloth on the upper boards of Mansfield Park (vol. II) and Northanger Abbey, otherwise a very good set-plus.
