A handsome issue of this religious satire by Sci-Fi legend Robert A. Heinlein, the title a nod to James Branch Cabell's work Jurgen, A Comedy of Justice (1919). The signed deluxe edition of 750 was issued in 26 lettered copies with the remainder numbered, but both these were bound in red cloth and housed in slip-cases; this deluxe deluxe issue presumably therefore one of only a few 'out-of-series' copies for presentation by the author.
First edition, unnumbered out of series copy from an overall limitation of 750 deluxe signed copies; 8vo; signed by the author on limitation leaf, limitation leaf and title printed in brown & black; publisher's presentation binding in half calf, gilt horn motif to upper cover, slightly rubbed at corners and upper joint but otherwise a fine copy, t.e.g.
