The edition was initiated by the three regional party associations (the Adygorburo of the RKP(b), Adygoblispolkom and Adygoblplan), all of which existed for a short period of time in the 1920s.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe bulletin opens with a poem from the local Cherkess author, Kazbek Abubachirovich Mishuriev on the third anniversary of incorporating the whole of Caucasus into the USSR. Executed for political reasons in the late 1930s, Mishuriev was active in Krasnodar in 1920s, publishing his best-known book 'Kalym. The story from Cherkess life' in 1926. He also contributed to local periodicals and authored a number of non-fiction texts, such as 'A Historical and Economic Survey of the Adyghe Autonomous Region' which was published in 1923.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAlso included is an important article by Grigoriy Kryzhanovsky which covers Adyghe writing systems.
