Featuring a map of the Thames in 33 sections, each laid with small photographs of local sites of interest, a folding sketch map of the river from Kemble to Putney, an accompanying table of distances, and photographs depicting Taunt's 'House on the River' and 'Camping Out in a Quiet Corner'.
Fifth edition; 8vo, (19 x 13 cm); folding map of the Thames in 33 sections, folding distances table, 96 small photographs (5 x 3 cm) laid on to the map in 33 sections (2 inches: 1 mile), 6 further photographs (4 small and 2 standard 11.5 x 8 cm); occasional foxing, some of the smaller photographs with areas of loss; original red cloth bindings with gilt title to cover and spine, back joint loose; [xi]ads, 220, [63] ads pp. folding prospectus for Taunt's Old Thames bound with endpaper ads. A very good copy.
