The first edition of Tennessee William's (1911-1983) 'strange and disturbing play' Camino Real (Brooks Atkinson). Although only receiving an initial run of 60 performances on Broadway, the play has since been revived many times, most recently at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, 2012.

First edition, presentation copy inscribed by the author; 8vo (21 x 14.5 cm); presentation inscription in pen to front free endpaper recto, photo-illustrated title; publisher's cloth, light fading to tips of spine and corners, dust-jacket with slight rubbing and minor creasing to head and tail, light rubbing to lower panel, overall a near-fine copy.
