Father Ghukas Injijian was an enthusiastic promoter of modern Armenia and a pioneer of Armenian geography. Resident in Constantinople from 1805 to 1828, he published two yearbooks, of which this is the one for 1815. Profusely illustrated with hand coloured illustrations, it contains useful information about each month of the year, meteorological forecast, geography, astronomy, natural sciences, history, and other useful information. It also includes a catalogue of the flags of all countries at that time.
