Folio (37 x 24 cm), [12], 317, [11], 159, [3], 161-181, [9] pp., title-page printed in red and black, engraved frontispiece, 17 engraved portraits, 102 engraved plates of achievements, most printed verso and recto, woodcut illustrations in text throughout, contemporary mottled calf, rebacked preserving spine, neat restoration to top and bottom panels, red morocco lettering piece, occasional pale water stain, defective corner to page 167 of the Analogia honorum with loss to page number but not text, an attractive country house copy.
