Publication examining the events and policies under the British Mandate in Palestine which led to the outbreak of (yet another) Arab revolt and the British Government refusal to suppress it.

The author argues that the Jews prove to be more reliable in their loyalty than the Arabs, thus it is 'in the Imperial interest that more and more Jews, and particularly more and more able-bodied Jews, should be introduced into the country, for the larger the number of Jews the greater the reserve of loyal man-power at the disposal of the Government in the next emergency and the less formidable will be the inevitable threat of an Arab outbreak in the next war.'
