He went on fund raising missions to Greece and Turkey, which were customary at the time, in order to raise funds for the struggling Jewish communities in the Holy Land. While in Constantinople he brought to print the offered book. Contains two parts under one title. This is a questions and answers work about the Arbah Turim - often called simply the Tur, is an important Halakhic code composed by Rabbi Jacob ben Asher, also known as Ba'al ha-Turim.
