This volume contains tales of Norgay Tenzing's various travels and climbs following his historic ascent of Everest with Sir Edmund Hillary. By 1977, Norgay had taken part in seven Everest expeditions including three official British attempts by the northern route in the 1930s. Malcolm Barnes was a director of the publishers George Allen & Unwin.and was also member of the Alpine Club. This is the first printing of this work.

It is a rare to find copies with his signature.

First edition. 8vo (23 x 15cm), 3-184pp., 24 illustrations after photographs (some coloured), signed by Tenzing on front free endpaper, small mark on front free endpaper, publisher's green cloth, spine lettered in silver; original pictorial dust-wrapper, a little wear to the corners; a very good copy.
