A fine, special edition of these Sherlock Holmes famous parodies, comprising eighteen tales that originally appeared in The Greyfriars Herald in 1915 & 1916, here accompanied with the original illustrations from that periodical.

Philip José Farmer (1918-2009), a well-known sci-fi author, who also wrote an Holmes homage, The Adventure of the Peerless Peer (1974), which imagined a pairing up of Sherlock Holmes and Tarzan.
