Exceptionally rare printing of a lecture given by Sushila Devi, a Hindu humanitarian and advocate for female education in India, describing her experiences of English life from her travels and education there in the early twentieth century. Only one other institutional copy of this text has been traced.

First edition, small 8vo (175 x 125), [1], iv, 26pp., ownership inscription to title, original printed wrappers laid onto card, later (?) blue cloth strip to spine, light singer-soiling, a little worn.
