Very scarce catalogue with images by Howard-Bury, Wollaston, Heron and Mallory. The introduction is by A.E.W Mason, a well known novelist and experienced mountaineer. The 1921 expedition to Everest called "The Reconnaissancee" was led by Lieutenant-Colonel C.K. Howard-Bury and was the first British expedition to attempt the ascent of Mount Everest. This exhibition was arranged by the Mount Everest committee of the Royal Geographical Society and the Alpine Club.

First edition. 8vo, (20 x 15 cm) pp 24, 8 photo illustrations on 4 plates; publisher's green printed wrappers, some fraying to edges of the wrappers; pp 24; a very good copy.
