The first page is 'A Personal Message from a Research Scientist at Tsukuba', Fumikazu Ikazaki, who recounts his family's experience as 1st and 2nd generation survivors of the bombing of Hiroshima. The following page prints the resolutions of the Council of Labor Unions 'to oppose all military related research'. They state that, 'self-defence force soldiers are beginning to visit the institutes in Tsukuba Science City. The Japanese Government is trying to start military research with the United States... We must never allow the results of our research to be used for war.
