A sweet copy of Palgrave's Golden Treasury in green calf gilt by Mudie. The second series with a selection of lyrical poetry from the second half of the nineteenth century, including Robert Browning, the Rossettis, and Alfred Lord Tennyson.

Small 8vo (16 x 10.5 cm); title-vignette, dated gift inscription to front free endpaper recto, occasional minor spotting; green calf by Mudie, covers ruled in gilt and blind, gilt spine in 6 compartments, contrasting red morocco lettering-pieces, marbled edges, a little soiled, very good; [12], 275, [1]pp.
