Morten Andersen was born in Akershus, Norway in 1965. In 1990 he moved to New York and studied at the International Center of Photography, where his teachers included Nan Goldin, Ken Schles, and Larry Clark. Since 1999 he has published 23 books, many self-published, Fast City is his first.
