Major Henry Wood, senior topographer on the expedition, was largely responsible for much of the geographical and geological findings and discoveries made, chiefly the gravitational values of the Karakoram mountains, their increased crust depth, and the importance of the Rimo Muztagh.

First edition; 4to (33.5 x 21.5 cm); 6 photographic plates including frontispiece, 10 photographic panoramas in rear pocket, 2 large folding maps in rear pocket; publisher's original printed boards, quarter cloth spine, a little wear with contemporary ink spot to upper board, still a very good untouched copy; [2], iii, 42 pp.

Not in Neate or Yakushi.
