London, Rupert Hart-Davis, 1957
£380

Bradbury's semi-autobiographical tale of a boy's childhood, the first book in his 'Green Town' trilogy, followed by Something Wicked This Way Comes (1962) and Farewell Summer (2006).

Publishers Rupert Hart-Davis produced some lovely books, particularly when the man himself was still at the helm, and their Ray Bradbury editions are no exception, often featuring excellent dust-jacket art by illustrators either well-known at the time, or who would go on to find renown subsequently, such as John Minton.
