A charming signed letter from one of the most influential and popular Presidents of the United States, for many the defining voice of modern American conservatism, written to one of the most high-profile Labour Prime Ministers, two figures who would have been at odds on many political issues of the time in theory.

The letter refers to a previous one received from Harold Wilson, for which President Reagan sends his thanks and acknowledges the significance of such a missive coming from a former UK Prime Minister. Reagan then goes on to refer to the British-American special relationship, and Wilson's current lecture tour in the US.
