A very fresh copy of the second revised edition of works of the well-known Russian poet (1840 – 1893), which was compiled by Modest Tchaikovskiy – brother of the prominent Russian composer, who was also a friend of the author. Being sensual and dramatic, Apukhtin’s poems became an integral part of the repertoire of many outstanding Russian composers, such as Tchaikovskiy, Rakhmanonov and Prokofiev.
