First and only separate edition of Sweden and Finland. Finland was previously described as part of Russia when it was called the Grand-Duchy of Finland. Following the Bolshevik revolution in October 1917 Finland was declared an independent state. This volume is very interesting as it was issued in January 1942 and has a variant binding. Endpapers dated “Januar 1942”
Fourteenth edition. lxviii, 404pp, 36 [of 38] maps, 31 plans and 15 floorplans; publisher’s variant two-coloured, coarse-grained red binding; a very attractive copy.
