(advertised on endpapers). Scarce early edition.
Endpapers dated “Mai 1864”.
Second edition. xlii, 461pp, 15 maps, 7 plans, 6 panoramas, slight spotting throughout; skilfully restored preserving the publisher’s red cloth gilt; a very good copy.
