Includes Moloch and other short stories by Alexander Kuprin
First published in 1896 in the December issue of Russkoe Bogatstvo, Kuprin’s novella is centered around the rapid industrialisation at the end of the 19th Century in Russia. Considered to be Kuprin’s first major work, it is critical of the rise of capitalism in Russia and suggests a worker’s revolt would erupt imminently.
