First edition in Italian; 8 parts in 4 vols, 12mo (162 x 90 mm.); woodcut title decorations, initials and other decorations, folding letterpress table, vol.I lacking initial [?]blank, light damp-staining towards end of vol.IV, but overall internally very good; bound in full contemporary red morocco with elaborate foliate decorations and decorative roll borders to covers, spines with decorative gilt designs & lettering in compartments within gilt roll-tooled bands, all edges gilt, plain silk doublures, minor rubbing to edges but a fine set; LXXII, 297, ; 300; 305, ; 268.
