The text deals with all aspects of religious life in Russia, and all the various sects and religions practiced.


Tall 8vo (23.2 x 14.7 cm). Title-[8]-486-[2] pp., with 8 hand-coloured lithograph plates; very occasional light spotting. Contemporary green polished half-calf over marbled boards, blindstamped roll to covers, spine with raised bands gilt, red morocco label lettered in gilt; slightly rubbed at extremities.
