Probably the most evocative narrative of the Heroic Age of Antarctic exploration, telling of the survival of Shackleton and his crew under the most extreme circumstances. This edition dated December 1919, the first being dated November 1919. The difference between the impressions is that here the errors listed in the errata have been corrected and this impression is printed on much better paper.
