The first edition of the first novel by Truman Capote, Other Voices, Other Rooms is a semi-autobiographical exploration of an adolescent’s experiences growing up in a small Southern town and his encounters with many of the characters therein, including a tomboy strongly reminiscent of Capote’s longterm friend Harper Lee.
