The London to Birmingham railway opened in 1838 and was the first inter-city line to built into London. Scarce.

First edition, 8vo ( 15 x 10 cm), xiii, 179pp, 6pp publishers list to rear. large folding map of the railway and a folding plan ( with some staining) publisher’s brown cloth gilt, binder’s label, cloth faded; otherwise a very good copy.
