This important collection of vintage photographs represents the six manned Apollo lunar landings. From the first with Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Apollo 11 'Man on the Moon' July 1969 to the final one with Apollo 17 December 7, 1972, with a three-member crew consisting of Commander Eugene Cernan, Ronald Evans, and Harrison Schmitt.

Apollo 17 remains the most recent manned Moon landing and the most recent manned flight beyond low Earth orbiting December 1972.
