first edition., 4to, x, 532 pp., 3 engraved portraits, some offset staining to portraits and facing leaf, contemporary russia, covers ruled in gilt and blind, spine in six compartments, gilt lettered direct to second, others with large gilt block, raised bands with double gilt fillets, marbled edges, a very good copy.
