First edition, first, second or third printing; 16mo; colour frontispiece, plain title vignette and 26 colour plates, pictorial endpapers, a very small, close tear to the base of the margin of p.56 where the gutter is slghtly open but firm, a minor mark to margin of p. 26, otherwise very bright and near-fine; publisher's olive green boards with mounted colour illustration, slight bumping to spine ends and corners, a couple of very minor spots, otherwise a very good copy indeed.

  9. First edition, one of the limited issue, number 105 of 250 large paper copies signed by the author, large 8vo., plates and illustrations by the author not included in the trade edition. Publisher's purple silk, device to upper board and titles to spine gilt, top edge gilt, others uncut, with the silk marker ribbon intact (though frayed at very end. Spine faded as usual but an unusually nice copy.

First edition, first impression; 8vo; 4pp. publisher's advertisements; publisher's orange cloth, titles to spine in black, with the dust-jacket designed by Fenwick, correctly priced 7'6 on the spine panel. Some partial browning to the endpapers but a very nice copy in the somewhat faded dust jacket with a number of short tears and several small pieces of internal repair.
