Small 8vo (14 x 12 cm; vi, 223 pp, large folding sketch map at rear (3 cm tear in margin), one folding railway map, folding tables, some spotting inside, some wear to the corners; publisher's printed brown paper wrappers, covered in sellophane; some discolouration; a good copy.

Ninth edition. pp. clxvii, 664, 16 adverts, 78 (of 79) maps and plans ( lacks large folding map at rear), ( map of Agra on p.204 with hole in centre (approx 4 cm length x 1 cm width)), inner hinges cracked, some marginal pencilling inside ; publisher's original red cloth gilt, cloth faded; a good copy.
