Depannemaeker after Hoola van Nooten, scattered spotting and browning, minor paper adhesion to some plates; dark green half morocco by Sangorski and Sutcliffe, spine with raised compartments.

3 vols, 4to (26.4 x 20.1 cm); hand-finished chromolithographed half-title in volume I, 137 hand-coloured lithographed plates, light foxing, heavier to volume II, affecting some plates, some age-toning; contemporary green half morocco over marbled boards, spines with raised bands, elaborately gilt in six compartments, all edges gilt, yellow endpapers, spines slightly sunned, extremities slightly rubbed, overall an attractive example.

Hand-coloured woodblock prints on handmade rice paper, each numbered and captioned at top, each outlined in ink. Framed in perspex frames; overall size: 49 by 36.7cm.
