Folio; half-title and and title printed in red & black, 50 stunning chromolithographed plates heightened with gold, captioned tissue guards, occasional marginal soiling or browning, a few guards frayed at edges, two with corner section missing, otherwise very good; publisher's two-tone green cloth, professionally restored at extremities, all edges gilt.

First edition, 2 parts and supplement in 1 vol; folio (45 x 32.5 cm); hand-coloured double-page map by G. Guerra and 59 engraved hand-coloured plates after Pietro Fabris, the plates edged in black with grey washed margins including two engraved titles; contemporary red morocco, richly gilt, covers with gilt dentelles. NB. lacks first leaf of text in vol. I, else a very good example.

Folio (47 x 30 cm), engraved additional title, coloured by hand, 50 hand-coloured engraved plates; contemporary straight-grained maroon morocco gilt, covers with concentric borders tooled with borders in gilt and blind, spine elaborately gilt in 6 compartments.

First edition. Two parts in one volume large folio (61.8 x 44 cm). First part: 23 leaves numbered I-XXIX (3rd leaf = III, IV, 4th = V, VI, 7th = IX, X, XII (XI not used), 9th = XIV, XV, XVI, plate XXI i & XXI ii) being title, chromo-lithograph dedication and plates of medals, arms and regimental flags; Second part: 56 lithographs of costumes printed in colour by Godard and finished by hand; occasional marginal spotting; contemporary green half morocco, flat spine with compartments decorated and lettered in gilt, marbled endpapers, gilt edges; slightly rubbed, corners a bit bumped.

Group of six lithographs coloured by hand and heightened with gold, mounted with gilt border and framed, engraved by Belousov, Anderson and Petrovsky after the original drawings by Karl Piratsky.

Second edition, 'mise en un meilleur ordre', 4 parts in 2 vols; folio (35 x 27.5 cm); introduction by Bazin, 179 of 181 hand-coloured lithographs (on 177 leaves), with four leaves of music and a hand-coloured vignette, engraved by Aubry-le-Comte, Deveria, Grévédon after drawings by père Castiglione, Pu-Qua and William Alexander (from Pittoresque representations of the dress and manners of the Chinese), Chambers, Dadley etc.,; quarter green morocco with blue marbled boards, spines in compartments with gilt and black morocco design, gilt title to second, some plates with minor stains, edges bumped, a fine copy.

First edition, folio (35 x 24 cm); viii, 2-35 pp., hand-coloured engraved title, 35 hand-coloured engraved plates, minor foxing to one plate and occasional staining, endpapers replaced, later quarter red morocco and cloth binding by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, spine in six parts with gilt text to second and third parts, raised bands.

First edition; 8vo; 15 fine, hand-coloured aquatints by Rawlins, a few marks and light spotting to early pages and tissue guards (not affecting plates), otherwise bright; publisher's full green morocco gilt, errata slip, toned, spot to upper cover, a few scratches to rear one, otherwise very good, modern cloth box, a very good copy.

Elephant folio (82 x 60 cm); 39 plates with plate numbers printed in the top right corner (starting with plate 41), light foxing to a few plates, a few plates a little loose; bound in contemporary boards with wrapper attached to upper cover, metal corner protectors to upper and lower covers, wrapper stained.
