First edition, first impression; 8vo; text with several instances of unobtrusive ellipses in pencil to margins, very slight toning to leaves, else unmarked; publisher's black cloth, paper label to spine, spine ends slightly bumped, extremities very slightly rubbed, light spotting to top edge, with the unclipped dustjacket, spine panel slightly browned, minor wear to head of spine with small tear, small tear with slight loss to foot with associated crease to foot of lower panel, housed in modern red cloth drop back box by Temple, gilt lettering to spine and front cover; a near-fine example.
