Holograph manuscript, black ink, 22 sides on 21 leaves of lined paper, many corrections and deletions with several additions. one section pasted in, [together with] 16pp typescript in blue on laid paper, some light authorial corrections throughout, enclosed together in a blue cloth folding case and blue quarter morocco slipcase. Typescript folded once, some foxing and minor edgewear to the manuscript leaves, excellent.

Tall narrow 8vo (232 x 126 mm); comprising 60 double-page charts for locomotive specifications, 14 with ms. additions, 13 original hand-coloured drawings of G.N.R. locomotives, a few others with unfinished pencil sketchings; original roan, rubbed at extremities, upper hinge pulling slightly with some splitting.

Small 8vo, Approximately 400 pages with a small supplement tipped-in, closely written in pencil, red morocco, rubbed, lower hinge split.
