First edition, number 9 of 100 specially bound copies, from an overall limitation of 750; folio (310 x 190 mm.); printed in dark green throughout, wood-engraved frontispiece, title vignette, 6 chapter headings and device, all by John Buckland-Wright, one full-page map of the east coast of Australia; full green morocco, gilt, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, top edge gilt, others uncut, spine very slightly lightened, but otherwise an excellent copy; housed in original cloth slip-case, lightly marked.

Pletnev, 25 hand-coloured full-page lithographs by Ulyanov including a frontispiece, plates on various colour paper, minor staining to text block, title foxed; original hand-coloured lithographic boards dated 1848, spine skilfully rebacked, retaining most of the original design, some wear to boards but overall good copy.

First edition; 8vo (20 x 12 cm); one large folding plate; bound in contemporary red morocco, covers with gilt coat of arms to the centre and detailed vine borders, spine gilt ruled and title, ex-libris and small French customs sticker to front free endpaper, green ribbon marker, blue silk endpapers, minor foxing throughout, all edges gilt, a near-fine copy; [2] 87pp.

  5. 8vo, xiv, 445 pp., portrait frontispiece, illustrations in text, green half morocco gilt for Hatchards in Art Nouveau style, foxing to fore-edge else a very good example.

  6. First edition; 2 vols, oblong folio (330 x 260mm, 13 x 10 1/8 in); orchestral score with libretto in Italian and German, vol. I with additional engraved vignette title by Bolt after Kinninger (foxed) of the supper scene between Commendatore and Don Giovanni, printed title with attractive ink presentation to upper corner margin, dated 1877) and 2 following pp. of text, engraved musical score 6-292pp, vol. II with printed title and engraved musical score 294-590pp, with separate printed divisional title 'Anhang von spaeter eingelegten Stuecken', some sporadic light foxing and minor staining, mostly to final leaf of vol. I, some leaves trimmed at upper edge with loss to pagination in vol.2 but in the main clean and bright; modern diced calf, upper covers lettered in gilt, marbled endpapers and edges, most attractive.

First edition, one of 500 deluxe copies signed by the publisher and with an additional etching bound before half-title; 4to; additional etching, portrait frontispiece, colour plates, captioned tissue-guards, illustrations, scattered faint spotting; bound in full decorative green crushed morocco by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, small patch of discolouration to lower fore-corner of upper cover, but overall fine.

Limited edition, number 27 of 1,000, printed in the Riccardi fount on handmade Riccardi Paper; 4to (225 x 160 mm); frontispiece wood-engraving of Brooke, engraved pictorial title, both by Raverat; later binding for Asprey in full navy blue morocco with decorative gilt panels to both boards of onlaid grey and gilt lilies, gilt lilies to spine, foliate gilt dentelles, all edges gilt; x, 156, [2]pp.

  9. 2 volumes, 8vo; armoiral bookplate to front pastedown, folding chart; contemporary sprinkled calf calf gilt, spines in six compartments, red and black title-pieces to second and fourth bands, others gilt, broad gilt dividers, scuff to lower board vol I, minor tear to folding plate, slight off-setting, otherwise a near fine copy; xxxii, 510; xiv, 495, xxvi pp.
